Forestry Mulching
Whole trees, stumps and thick vegetation chipped into mulch on the spot – up to 450mm. Less mess, less burning, a block you can actually use.
Forestry mulching is the fast, tidy way to clear overgrown land. A purpose-built mulcher grinds standing trees, saplings, stumps and thick scrub straight into mulch where they stand – up to 450mm thick – in a single pass. There is no pushing into windrows, no burn pile and no truckloads of green waste to cart away.
The mulch is left spread across the block, where it suppresses weeds, holds moisture and breaks down to feed the soil. If you would rather have it gone, we can cart it off. The choice is yours.
It is ideal for fire breaks, fence lines, regrowth, lantana and camphor laurel, building pads and tidying acreage – for property owners and developers alike.
- Trees, scrub & stumps up to 450mm handled in one pass
- Mulch left on site to feed the soil, or carted away
- No burn piles, no windrows, far less ground disturbance
- Great for fire breaks, lantana, camphor laurel & regrowth
- Owners and developers – no job too big or too small

Frequently asked
How big a tree can you mulch?
Standing material up to around 450mm is mulched in place. Larger trees are felled and processed, or removed with the crane truck if needed.
Will it leave the ground level?
Forestry mulching leaves a clean, mulched surface. If you need stumps and roots fully grubbed out to MRS04 for building or roadworks, we pair it with our land clearing service.
Can I keep the mulch?
Yes – most clients leave it spread on site. It is excellent ground cover. We can also cart it away if you prefer.
Do you do fire breaks?
Absolutely. Mulching a fire break before summer is one of the most common jobs we do across the Gympie and Sunshine Coast region.
